Mr. Bobby Lee Robinson

Bobby Lee Robinson was born on October 24, 1953 in Fairfax, Alabama to the late Simmie Robinson Sr. and Louise Camp. He departed this life on April 25, 2024. Bobby grew up on Atlanta’s Westside and attended Archer High School. He later moved to Southeast Atlanta where he met and married the love of his life, Patricia. On August 15, 1985, Bobby and Patricia were united in holy matrimony. Bobby was a doting husband, father, and grandfather. His subtle humor and witty spirit brought light and reason to most situations. Bobby was a man of few words, but he always had the right words. As a loving father and husband he dedicated his life to providing for his family. Bobby was employed with Chambless Construction Inc. as skilled construction worker specializing in fire proofing for more than 30 years. He delighted in his work and took great satisfaction in sharing stories about the numerous buildings he worked on in the Atlanta Metro area. Bobby served as a caddie at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Roswell, GA for 55 years. This was his home away from home since the age 15. He enjoyed caddying for celebrities and top athletes such as Matt Ryan, Charles Barkley, and many others. At the age of 20, Bobby entered the US Navy. He was a proud military Firefighter, reserve Seamen and veteran having served in the Iraq War, respectfully. He served in the Naval Mobile Construction Battallion. Bobby leaves to cherish his loving memory by 4 children, Takeisha Robinson, Kawaii Robinson, Mr. & Mrs. Francis Kimbell (Calandra), Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Cole (Tonia); five brothers, Simmie Robinson Jr. (Leola), Willie James Reed, Anthony Wright (Yolanda), Christopher Trammell (Anita), Brince Burke; three sisters, Essie Ree Carr (Bobby), Tawana Wright, Constance Banam. 14 grandchildren, Kason Venable, Karsen Venable, Phillip Howard III, Kennedy Howard, Domario King, Brittany King, Christopher Kimbell, Dominique Kimbell, Mahogany Cole, Kendrick Langford, Kyrie Cole, Janae Cole, Tizelle Parker, Tenille Parker; 9 great-grandchildren, Caleb King, Madison King, Harmony King, Malachi Keith, Chloe Keith, Cayleigh Keith, Francis Kimbell, Janelle Kimbell, Noah Kimbell; and a host of extended family and friends.
